    Yes. Snail Shield is  chemical-free slug control designed to protect crops while preserving beneficial organisms and biodiversity.

    In principle, the tape can be extended directly from the housing. One tape can run out from the left side and another from the right side, so in theory you could create a barrier with a total length of up to 22 meters.

    However, we recommend using one Snail Shield unit per tape section. This provides better reliability and redundancy, and helps ensure the system operates as effectively as possible.

    It’s simple. You can use a coin to briefly create a short circuit across the fence tape. If the contact is good, both indicator lights on the Snail Shield unit will start flashing together. Red and green at the same time. This shows that there is proper contact between the Snail Shield device and the fence.

    If the green light flashes every 5 seconds or every 1 second, this indicates that the device is operating correctly and generating the 11 V electrical pulses as intended.
